People looking to attain both an undergraduate and masters degree but are worried about the expenses are in luck. Now, many universities are offering dual degrees to speed up the process of undergraduate and graduate education. This includes online colleges, who are increasingly offering both dual and accelerated degree programs with the added benefit of being entirely online.
According to the Setonian, Seton Hall University now offers dual degree programs that can be completed in less than six years.
Ursula Sanjamino, associate dean of the Whitehead School of Diplomacy and International Relations at the university, told the news source that students enrolled in degrees such as the Diplomacy Dual program can expect to complete their masters degree work in just one year. “Upon completion of the B.S. degree, students dedicate the final year of study to completion of the 45-credit M.A. degree,” Sanjamino said.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who wish to attain a masters degree but are lacking ample time and money to spare. For example, parents yearning to go back to a college or university may be able to cut down their overall time enrolled in school. According to the Lumina Foundation for Education, over fifty million adults in the work force in the United States lack a college degree.
Many online colleges also offer accelerated degree programs that allow you to get both degrees in a little more time than what it would normally take to earn just an online bachelor’s.
Researching the best programs in the country for a specific area of study is a great place to start. In the end, accelerated or dual degree programs may be the best investment for one’s future.

I figure accelerated degree programs taken online are earned much quicker due to not having to deal with break periods during the day or between seasons. Are these courses offered each semester or only during a certain time?
